The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the Tilden Commissioners court room at 9:00 AM. The next GMA 16 meeting is scheduled for July 22, 2025 at Falfurrias. First day to file for a place on the ballot is July 19 and the last day to file is August 18.

The McMullen Groundwater Conservation District was created by the legislature in 2001 and confirmed by the voters of McMullen County in November of 2001. The mission of the district is as follows:
District Mission
The McMullen Groundwater Conservation District will strive to develop, promote, and implement water conservation, augmentation, and management strategies to protect water resources for the benefit of the citizens, economy, and environment of the district.
